Textile design for Mozhdeh Matin Spring Summer 2024.
Mozhdeh Matin has been producing clothing and accessories with various Peruvian communities since the brand was founded in 2008, with the aim of preserving Peru's ancestral craft techniques. By adding textile experimentation and contemporary touches to traditional weaving and knitting techniques, Mozhdeh Matin brings freshness to handcrafts, connecting the past with the present to create products for future generations.
In this collection, I created original paintings based on the gestural life drawings made by Mozhdeh Matin, the designer of Mozhdeh Matin. Then those artworks were translated into clothings and accessories through hand painting, crochet, and beaded work.

ムジュデ・マティンは、ペルーの先祖伝来の工芸技術を保存することを目的として、2008年のブランド設立以来、ペルーのさまざまなコミュニティと協力して衣類やアクセサリーを生産してきました。伝統的な織物や編み物の技術にテキスタイル的実験と現代的な捻りを加えることにより、手工芸品に新鮮さをもたらし、過去と現在を結び付けて未来の世代のためのモノづくりを実践しています。
このコレクションでは、デザイナーのムジュデが描いた、ライフドローイングをもとに、オリジナルの絵画を作成し、ハンドペイント、ビーズ工芸、かぎ針編みなどを用いて衣服や小物を製作しました。

“A region of transition between two biological communities.”
This collection captures the essence of Peru’s natural beauty and the intricate layers of its cultural heritage. Each piece in this collection has a handmade technique and is made with natural materials such as Baby Alpaca and Natural Rubber which are native to Peru. All the bead work is made by shipibo women.
In this collection, I created original paintings and graphics for Knit Jacquard Garments.

二つの生物群集の間にある移行領域。
このコレクションは、ペルーの自然美と、複雑に絡み合う文化的伝統・遺産の層から抽出したエッセンスをもとに構成されています。各プロダクトの制作には、さまざまな手工芸の技法が用いられ、ベビーアルパカやナチュラルラバーといったペルー原産の天然素材が使用されています。ビーズ細工はすべてシピボの女性たちによって作られています。
本コレクションでは、ニットジャガードのためのテキスタイルグラフィックをデザインしました。
