My Heartbeat (2022)

My Heartbeat is an AR sculpture of a floating heart that pulsates and morphs in sync with sound and viewer proximity. The heart’s dual skins follow cycles of birth, tension, collapse, and renewal: Side A, the Thinking Organ, displays narrative imagery; Side B, the Feeling Muscle, shows abstract patterns. The heart reveals different faces and sounds based on the viewer's position. Stills show both heart sides, simulated experience, and states of deformation. I developed the conceptual framework and heart’s surface system using hand-drawn graphics, which were later composited into a digital skin.
